To start off the 2024-25 season, Counterpoint Community Orchestra is pleased to present: Bells & Glitter! We welcome you to join us for a festive evening of holiday cheer, where we will perform a dazzling selection of music.

Our program features an exciting blend of contemporary and classical works that are sure to fill you with cheer!

The evening opens with Why Not Blues by Kye Marshall, setting a lively tone for the night.

Following that, we are thrilled to present the world premiere of Michael J. Glasgow's Concerto for Castings, showcasing the incredible talent of our featured soloist, Emily Li.

After a brief intermission, we return with Georges Bizet’s enchanting L'Arlésienne Suite no.2, followed by the magical sounds of The Polar Express by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard.

Get ready to sing along during John Finnegan’s Christmas Singalong, and to close the night, enjoy the timeless holiday favorite Sleighride by Leroy Anderson.

We look forward to celebrating the season with you through this sparkling evening of music and fun!
